Collection: Through the Window - Classic 17 x 17

We are delighted to present the new collection “Through the Window,” published by Abril Editorial Antroposófica.
These unique books are created in a leporello format, allowing them to be opened and held in different positions: on a table, on a shelf, in the hands of an older adult, or on a child's lap. This simple detail also allows therapists to use them in a variety of processes and settings.

Each book is inspired by a different butterfly, whose spiritual qualities and colors awaken specific inner forces: the luminous breadth of the blue Morpho, the delicate transparency of the glassy-winged butterfly, the grounding power of the Monarch, and the silent devotion of the Bombyx mori. Thus, although the verse accompanying each title is always the same, the experience changes with each species and each shade of color, as if the soul were tinged with different nuances with each reading.

The heart of the collection is precisely this repeated verse, which acts as a rhythm. And rhythm, in curative pedagogy and art therapy, is a true medicine: it gives security, order, and confidence to children and adults, like a vital pulse that accompanies them from within. Consistency soothes, structures, and nourishes the spiritual life.

That's why this collection isn't just for children: it's also designed for older adults and for therapeutic work, where rhythmic support and color become nourishment for the soul.

“Through the Window” is then an invitation to look inward and outward with the same freshness with which butterflies take flight, carrying on their wings the message that it is always possible to transform.

They can be linked to temperaments from a psychological and anthroposophical perspective. This isn't a literal relationship (like a zoological classification), but rather a symbolic analogy, where each butterfly expresses something of the temperament experience in its shape and qualities:

Blue Morpho
Temperament: Sanguine

Reason: Its bright, ever-changing, and agile flight reflects the lightness of the sanguine, which moves swiftly between impressions and thrives on the freshness of the moment. The intense blue elevates it toward luminosity and expansiveness.

Crystal Wings Butterfly
Temperament related: Phlegmatic

Reason: The transparency and delicacy of its wings evoke calm, gentleness, and the ability to let impressions pass without becoming trapped by them. Its inner serenity reflects the phlegmatic quality of "letting be."

Monarch
Related temperament: Choleric

Reason: The force of their migration, their unwavering will to travel thousands of miles, manifests the direction, determination, and persistence of the choleric temperament. It represents a goal-oriented, unwavering orientation.

Bombyx mori (silk butterfly)
Related temperament: Melancholic

Reason: His life, oriented toward sacrifice, weaving the cocoon and consuming himself in it, expresses the dedication, gravity, and depth of the melancholic. His creative and suffering quality makes him an image of inner transformation.

Thus, each species can be seen as an image of the four temperaments:

Blue Morpho → Sanguine

Crystal Wings → Phlegmatic

Monarch → Choleric

Bombyx mori → Melancholic
