Series of Madonnas

This series of images was given by Rudolf Steiner to Dr. Felix Peipers in Munich around 1911, for the patients in his clinic, especially those with emotional illnesses. In other contexts, Rudolf Steiner repeatedly referred to the healing properties of Raphael's Madonna paintings, also in the treatment of children in need of spiritual care. In the case of this series, the essence of its effect lies in the sequence and composition of the paintings.
It should be noted that Dr. Peipers uses large-format black and white images for his therapy, projected one after the other onto the wall.
